The types and sizes of SiC and MoSi2 heating elements that we can supply are listed below:

Type: rod, dumb-bell, U, W, spiral, slot, Bent and special customized.
Diameter: Φ6-50 mm; Length: 200-4800 mm.
Effective working temperature: SiC 1600 °C, MoSi2 1800 °C.

Applications:

Aluminum smelting, holding furnaces and die casting equipments;
Crucible furnaces, elevator furnaces, rotary hearth furnace, continuous furnace and general heating furnace;
Glass feeder and float glass tank.

Typical Technical Data (MoSi2):

Porosity: < 6.5%;
Bulk Density: > 5.8 g/cm3;
Flexural Strength: > 2.3 MPa;
Thermal Extensibility: < 4.0%;
Water Absorption: < 0.8%.
